Shrinkles

Well I bought my first ever shrinkles paper/plastic, and played around with some of my illustrations, it was great fun. For those who don't know what shrinkles is. It's a sheet of plastic(as thin as a sheet of paper) you draw or print on and then put it in you hot oven and it curls and shrinks into a small,think object.You could make earrings, brooches or whatever cute little thing :-)

Bussy bee

Well today again a busy day, but not so much illustration wise:-( Went to the market today and bought some flowers to refresh my balcony. Then busy cleaning my garage and dejunking !! And just now at last able to sit down and have a try with my labels. I bought some long cotton ribbons last week, so I ironed my logo onto them, to make trial labels for my future products!!!
What do you think ???

Also I wanted to let you know there is a slight delay with my products that will be for sale on Envelop, but hope to have it all online sometime next week, SORRY !!!

Wieeepieee I got my etsy post today !! I bought some cute earings I found on Etsy last week and they arrived today. There from Layla Amber, she really has some nice stuff, check out her etsy shop.Can't wait to put them on tomorrow:-)

Old illustration

Found an old illustration, from a couple of years ago! I'm gonna let it inspire me, I must say it intrigues me and I think I'm gonna make a new and fresher version ?!?

Sunday lunch

The sun  has been shining non stop the last few days, it feels so lovely !! Flowers on my balcony are blooming and I enjoyed a sunday lunch with family today. I made little quiches, sandwiches, ect... not much illustrating time with other words :-)

Envelop store

Well normally as of next week you will be able to buy my designs on Envelop, an online store !!I'm starting with tote bags and pillow cases . Here are a few previews, shall keep you posted:-)I also hope to be opening my shop on Etsy latest buy the summer with illustrations, cards, hot water bottle covers ( this ready for winter, but we don't want to be thinking about that, as spring has just arrived) and ect.

Make up artist

So I've got to make a business card for a makeup artist, but I'm waiting on some detail guidelines and wishes . I started playing around this evening, must say am having fun in illustrator:-) Lately I have been staying away from the computer, but it's nice to switch a while to the more digital side of illustrating!

OOoh when getting the post today I felt like it was my birthday, like a little girl can't waiting to open this beautiful bit of post :-) Last week I was the winner on Kim Welling's free friday and here it is the peace bag (beg) plus a few little extras. Just all so cute ! Thanks Kim !!!

Spring cleaning

labels part 1

So I've started on making some little test strips for my labels. The idea is that I will sew them to my products, for example my hot water bottle covers,...I made my typical mistake with my text that I didn't flip it !!! So now time for sewing lots of little labels and ironing the logo on them ...

Framed rabbits

Just a little something for the eye :-) Got some nice new frames and put one of my illustrations in one to give it a try.Plan to be busy with some sewing and illustrating this weekend so shall be posting some new stuff very soon...have a nice weekend all of you !!

Oooh wauw, when I came home today and checked some of my favorite blogs I got the news of being the winner of a super cute peace bag (beg), made by Kim Welling.So what is it that I won ?Well this is a cute envelope with a peace dove , if you need to say sorry or make peace with someone, such a nice idea I think.You must check out her blog and her shop on etsy , she really has some pretty stuff.I discovered her in my monthly treat I buy vtwonen magazine.Looking forward to getting this little parcel in my mail:-)

Krokus flower

The sun has been shining this weekend here and spring has definitely arrived. Here's a little inspiration I got over the weekend. Krokus flowers are popping up all over Brugge.

So haven't had much time the last two days for my sewing projects, but wanted to post you guys something. So here's a monoprint I made a couple a week ago, really in the mood for drawing birds, I think it's because the birds have started to sing there springtime songs !

So as it's my day off today and also such bad weather, I ended up staying inside and changing my plans. I really wanted to start making labels for my hot water bottle covers, but I don't have all my materials :-( So I made more covers to see what works and what not !Feel free to let me know what you think...

So here's the first try for a hot water bottle cover I made this weekend.Now I can get sewing for the other designs and also make a label with my logo on it.

Screen-printing

Welcome to my new blog.My plan is to show you what I'm up too as a illustrator.So at last I got the time to get busy with my screen printing :-)

and test different designs.The idea is to make hot water bottle covers, totebags and who know what else...
