Napkin rings

Just playing around with the idea of making napkin rings ... here's what I made sunday afternoon, my first testers ...

My previous keychain was at the end of it's life , so it was time for a new one. So I thought why not make one myself ... here's the result I made today with some shrinkle paper.

Summer part 2

Woawww time is just flying past , I really can't believe it's already end august !
So I had a family visit 2 weeks ago we went to a nature reserve called t' Zwin, here at the Belgian coast. As the summer did arrive at last here in Belgium this meant a lot of outdoor activities. Also went kayaking with my boyfriend from a place called Damme to Sluis, this is just over the Dutch border , cute little shopping village.

Posts to look forward to later this week : my business cards, some sewing projects, finishing my shrinkle brooches and earrings and the process to getting my webshop up and running by the end off next week, keep fingers crossed :-)

Friday the 13th...

So I ordered earring settings,brooch backs,... so I can get started with making the earrings and brooches for my Etsyshop. I also got to making more shrinkies, trying to get the right seize and trying other ideas out...what do you think and what would you make the love pair into a brooch, or maybe any other ideas ???

Happy Easter

Happy easter to you all,  today has been a very wet and windy day and the perfect day to enjoy sitting behind the computer! I have been busy on working on a little card for the presentation of my Birdbrooch, today. So hoping to be able to have it all finished soon and put them on Etsy. Also my new little kitten has been enjoying on giving me a helping hand :-) We decided on calling him Nano, this means little one, dwarf,... Shall keep you updated on all the stuff I'm doing :-)

Bird brooche

Haven't been having the time I wanted to do a whole lot of illustrating, but made some time to play around with some ideas with my monoprint illustrations,... Made this bird brooch, shall make it one of my products on Etsy, for later this year.Thats all folks!!!!

Shrinkles

Well I bought my first ever shrinkles paper/plastic, and played around with some of my illustrations, it was great fun. For those who don't know what shrinkles is. It's a sheet of plastic(as thin as a sheet of paper) you draw or print on and then put it in you hot oven and it curls and shrinks into a small,think object.You could make earrings, brooches or whatever cute little thing :-)
